Questions

Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The built-in camera app on iPhone (iOS 11 and later) and most Android phones recognize Wi-Fi codes and offer to join the network.
Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?
No. The code is created in your browser and your password never leaves your device.
What if my password has special characters?
That is fine. Characters like ; , : and quotes are escaped automatically so phones read them correctly.
Will my QR code stop working?
No. The link or text is stored inside the code itself, so it keeps working even if this website disappears. There is no trial and nothing to renew.
